Local Lean Champion

We are a leading Swiss multinational company with operations in Tunisia (Sousse), and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to strengthen our operational excellence journey.

Position Overview

The Local Lean Champion (Continuous Improvement Engineer) is responsible for driving operational excellence initiatives across the plant by identifying improvement opportunities, leading Lean transformation projects, and optimizing processes to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, project leadership skills, and close collaboration with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support both local and global company objectives.

Responsibilities

·  Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, VSM, SMED, etc.).

·  Analyze production processes and performance indicators to identify waste and optimization opportunities.

·  Support production teams in problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, DMAIC).

·  Facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross-functional improvement initiatives.

·  Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure sustainable performance improvements.

·  Standardize best practices and ensure knowledge transfer across departments.

·  Support digitalization and process optimization initiatives where applicable.

·  Promote a continuous improvement culture across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

·  University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

·  Minimum 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement or operational excellence within an industrial or multinational environment.

·  Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

·  Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.

·  Fluency in English.

·  Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

·  Strong adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic industrial environment.
