What You’ll Do

Build Complete, Reliable Estimates

• Prepare accurate estimates from drawings, specifications, and scopes of work (SOWs)
• Translate plans into clear, defensible pricing that leadership and clients can trust

Perform Precise Digital Takeoffs

• Complete digital takeoffs for roofing areas, perimeters, penetrations, and accessories
• Interpret architectural and roofing drawings correctly and consistently

Own the Estimating System

• Build, edit, and maintain items and assemblies inside estimating software
• Create custom assemblies when working from simple or partial SOWs

Ensure Pricing Accuracy & Consistency

• Review quantities, labor, materials, and pricing before final submission
• Apply scope changes, pricing updates, and revisions accurately across future estimates
• Maintain organized notes, documentation, and checklists so nothing gets missed

Deliver Professional Outputs

• Generate clean, professional estimate reports for internal review and client submission
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to review and refine estimates

Support Scalable Operations

• Follow structured workflows to support repeatable, disciplined estimating practices
• Contribute to standardization efforts that improve speed, accuracy, and consistency

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems:
• TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, coatings, and service work
• Proficiency with STACK or comparable commercial estimating software
• Solid understanding of materials, labor, accessories, and system components
• Ability to turn a simple SOW into a complete, accurate estimate
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates at once
• Clear, professional communication skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience standardizing estimating processes
• Familiarity with pricing databases and cost updates
