Context

UN-Habitat, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, promotes inclusive, resilient, and environmentally sustainable urban development. This assignment forms part of the Aghlabides Medical City Project (ECMAK), a major urban development initiative aimed at establishing an integrated medical, scientific, and innovation hub in Kairouan. Hosted by ECMAK and implemented in collaboration with UN-Habitat and other institutional partners, the project seeks to enhance sustainable urban planning and infrastructure development through the effective use of geospatial data and planning tools. Supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tunisia and the UNV programme, the assignment also promotes youth inclusion and encourages applications from qualified young persons with disabilities.
