National UNV Assignment - Tunisia

Context

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is the UN agency dedicated to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of women and young people. Operating in Tunisia since 1974, UNFPA works closely with government institutions and civil society to expand access to quality sexual and reproductive health services, combat gender-based violence, strengthen the use of population data for policymaking, and support youth empowerment. This UN Youth Volunteer assignment contributes to UNFPA Tunisia’s communication strategy by transforming complex information and strategic priorities into engaging visual and audiovisual content. Through creative storytelling and digital communication, the role helps increase public awareness and stakeholder engagement around population dynamics, human rights, and development issues. Supported by the Swiss Embassy in Tunisia and the UNV programme, the initiative promotes youth inclusion, with particular encouragement for applications from qualified young persons with disabilities.
