Position Summary

· This position supports the centralized payroll processing function DJO Tunisia company of Enovis utilizing Sage payroll software and our Workday HRMS. Responsible for the coordination of efforts between payroll, human resources, treasury and finance for the respective legal entity DJO Tunisia and future entities, if applicable to ensure accurate processing of payroll across a monthly pay cycle with employees. This position will also support processing of Sage payroll system; maintaining data to support audit requests related to payroll (financial and benefit plan); balancing payroll reports/accruals, reconciling payroll accounts and maintaining documentation to support all payments.

 

Essential Job Function

· Responsible to process payroll and related activities including computation of wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, bonus runs, employee allowances, and separation payments.

· Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information secure and confidential.

· Ensure compliance with country and local authorities; Support legislative changes to ensure compliance to any new requirements

· Review time and attendance records with an understanding of country specific Tunisia Labour Laws and regulations.

· Ensures accurate timekeeping records for compliance with established standards and country regulations.

· Balance earnings and deduction totals, calculates and prepares general ledger entries as needed, evaluates and verifies automated system output such as registers and standard reports and resolves any discrepancies.

· Perform associated analysis and reconciliation of payroll data in support of the site finance

· Identifies errors associated with out-of-balance conditions during processing, Interfaces with HR Management as needed to resolve issues related to Payroll and Time and Attendance.

· Support both internal and external compliance audits related to payroll processing

· Work with the Sage payroll software to ensure timely execution and setup and release of garnishments

· Support new acquisitions/mergers

· Statutory reporting and payments made timely and accurately.

· Completes timely reconciliation and funding contributions in accordance with regulations.

· Complete timely reconciliation and funding for payroll related accounts

· Manages payroll inquires and respond within established requirements. (i.e. Tax notices, employee inquires, payroll input, tax setup issues, year-end statement issues, pay calculation questions)

· Coordinate monthly payroll funding requirements with Finance/Treasury

Experience, Competencies and Education:

 

Essential:

· 2+ year's Tunisia payroll processing or related experience or BS Degree in Accounting/Finance.

· Basic knowledge of payroll tax and payroll regulations

· Basic to experienced knowledge of payroll and benefits accounting including creating and posting related journal entries and performing analytical work

· Basic accounting skills. Experience with payroll journal entries, labor allocations, reconciliations, and other related tasks. Experience with time clock systems, payroll taxes, garnishments and other deductions.

· High attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to work under tight deadlines and with flexibility

· Excellent communication skills and employee relations to respond to internal HR professional’s inquiries.

· Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Software including: Word, Excel and Outlook

· Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing abilities

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data and issues

 

Desirable

· Knowledge AIPAIE, SAGE, Accurtime (Time & Attendance), Workday HRMS or similar platform a plus
