Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Fullstack Tech Lead to lead a team of 4 talented engineers in designing, implementing, and scaling AI-driven products. You will be both a technical architect and a people leader — shaping the technical direction while mentoring and growing the team.The technology stack is evolving, and you will play a key role in evaluating and adopting the best tools for building reliable, high-performance AI systems. Current expectations include strong proficiency in modern fullstack technologies with a focus on Python-based AI/ML backends.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Define architecture and technical strategy for scalable AI solutions (APIs, microservices, frontend applications, and AI integration layers).
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4 fullstack/backend/frontend engineers. Conduct code reviews, 1:1s, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Implementation: Actively code alongside the team (expect 40-60% hands-on development time).
• AI Solutions Delivery: Work closely with AI/ML specialists (or embed AI capabilities yourself) to productionize models, build intelligent features, and ensure low-latency, reliable performance.
• Scalability & Reliability: Design and implement systems that can handle significant growth in users and data volume.
• Stack Evolution: Evaluate and drive decisions on backend (Python ecosystem), frontend frameworks, API layers, databases, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
• Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and data science stakeholders to translate business needs into technical deliverables.

Technical Requirements (Must-Have)

• Strong fluency in:
• Python (advanced level) – building robust backends, scripting, and AI/ML integration.
• Angular and React – deep experience with at least one, solid understanding of the other.
• Production experience with modern Node.js frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and develop scalable, maintainable fullstack applications.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models (LLMs, computer vision, recommendation systems, etc.) into production applications.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, databases (SQL + NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
• Background in building AI-native products or platforms.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, micro-frontend architectures, or Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Django).
• Experience with real-time systems, vector databases, or LangChain/LlamaIndex ecosystems.
• Contributions to open source or personal projects showcasing technical depth.
