Procurement Planner

We are an experienced automotive company with over 14.500 employees in different countries.

We act as tear 1 supplier for renowned OEMs and as tear 2 supplier in the safety components sector.

We are searching for a skilled professional to help expand our procurement team in Soliman.

Procurement planner

• Graduate/ student of a technical, managerial or economic University;
• English language skills at a proficiency level;
• good knowledge of MS-Office, particularly Excel;
• Analytical thinking with high affinity for details;
• Organized, structured and committed way of working;
• Strong communicative skills and team player;
• German language skills, experience in procurement and/or SAP knowledge are considered an advantage;

Tasks position:

• Ensuring the on time and in full material supply of the production locations;
• Releasing material supply orders, checking the delivery confirmations and solving the delivery deadline deviations;
• Material supply planning in order to ensure an optimized stock level;
• Implement corrective actions in order to solve material supply shortages and delivery issues;
• Front desk function for suppliers: communicating with assigned suppliers for all matters concerning deliveries, delivery performance and the inbound material flow;
• Performing material availability checks;
• Prepares specific analyzes and reports related to procurement daily activities;
• Active member in continuous development of the supply chain system, participates in the improvement of the policies, procedures and work tools necessary to manage the supply activity within the company;
• Keeps continuous communication with all company departments involved directly in material management process;
