Computer Vision / AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Computer Vision / AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent real-time video analytics solutions. In this role, you will build end-to-end computer vision pipelines that process live video feeds, extract spatial and temporal metrics, and integrate with modern web and mobile ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-accuracy object detection and recognition models optimized for retail or indoor environments.
• Develop robust multi-object tracking (MOT) systems to capture continuous entity motion, directional counts, and time-based metrics (dwell time).
• Build scalable, low-latency video processing pipelines capable of handling live camera streams (RTSP/WebRTC).
• Package AI models into production-ready microservices (REST/gRPC) for smooth integration with backend architectures.
• Optimize vision pipelines for cost-effective cloud GPU execution or local edge computing hardware.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance by implementing real-time video anonymization techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience building and deploying production-level Computer Vision systems.
• Deep proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with object detection architectures (e.g., YOLO, DETR) and OpenCV.
• Proven expertise with multi-object tracking algorithms (e.g., ByteTrack, DeepSORT).
• Strong background in video stream ingestion, decoding, and pipeline optimization (e.g., DeepStream, GStreamer, FFmpeg).
• Experience deploying containerized AI workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) and connecting models to external APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience deploying models onto edge hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Coral TPU) or managing cloud inference at scale.
• Familiarity with retail analytics, foot-traffic monitoring, or video-based inventory tracking.
