Job Title: QA Engineer – Web Platform & Mobile Applications

As a QA Engineer for Web and Mobile Applications, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of our user-facing software. You will validate the performance, usability, and data accuracy of our custom IoT management platforms (Web) and mobile apps (iOS & Android).

Key Responsibilities:

Web & Mobile Testing: Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for both our web-based management platform and mobile applications.

API & Data Validation: Verify that telemetry data arriving from our field devices via REST APIs and WebSockets is accurately processed and displayed on the user interfaces.

UI/UX Verification: Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and a seamless user experience across different screen sizes and operating systems.

Performance & Load Testing: Assess the platform's ability to handle high volumes of concurrent data streams from thousands of connected IoT devices.

Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, record, and track software defects meticulously using issue-tracking tools, working closely with front-end and back-end developers to resolve them.

Release Management: Conduct regression testing before major software updates and platform deployments to guarantee system stability.

Experience: Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance, specifically testing complex web platforms and mobile applications (iOS/Android).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in software testing methodologies (Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance).

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).

Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) is highly desirable.

Understanding of data flows in IoT systems (REST, MQTT, JSON) is a strong plus.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, a user-first mindset, and the ability to clearly document software behaviors and replication steps.
