Transport Supervisor

Hicha Joy is looking for an experienced and dynamic Transport Supervisor.

The job holder is responsible for supporting the Transport Manager in the daily operational management of company transportation.

This role involves supervising drivers, ensuring compliance with planned routes and schedules, and coordinating garage and logistics personnel to ensure uninterrupted transport services.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Implement and supervise daily transport planning prepared by the Transport
• Monitor driver check-in/check-out times and ensure punctual departure and return of
• Allocate drivers to vehicles and routes according to daily needs and emergency
• Follow and report vehicles usage on GPS, guaranty safe and respected usage of the company rules with good and direct communications to users of the fleet
• Maintain logs and reports related to vehicle usage, incidents, delays, and
• Coordinate with the Garage Manager for vehicle readiness and maintenance
• Assist in preparing shift schedules and rotations for drivers based on operational demands
• Inspect transport operations regularly to enforce safety procedures
• Support administrative functions such as preparing transport reports or analyzing

• Technical diploma or equivalent in transport, logistics, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in transportation coordination or fleet supervision 
• Strong knowledge of vehicle types (buses, tractors, light vehicles) and scheduling
• Familiarity with road safety regulations and HSE standards
• Ability to lead a team and resolve operational issues in real-time
• Good communication and reporting skills in English preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic planning tools
